ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Creating a client-friendly culture of success and growth is at the heart of our business model. As a Tax Accountant, Enrolled Agent, or CPA you will pursue this mission through:

Preparing individual and small business client’s tax returns including forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1120
-
Reconciling small business client’s general ledger accounts in order to prepare business returns

Working closely with clients to prepare returns, estimates, and special projects
-
Working closely with other staff to prepare returns for clients that we provide full-service accounting
-
Researching and resolving tax issues and questions both internally and for clients
-
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service

Ensuring policies and procedures are within compliance of professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements

Assisting ownership with analysis and management of short-term and long-term strategic goals
-
Other related job duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ Years of successful tax experience with Small Business and Individual clients

Associates Degree in Accounting or related field of study, or Enrolled Agent designation

Experience working for a public accounting firm
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field of study

Certified Public Accountant designation

5+ Years of successful tax experience with Small Business and Individual clients

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Proficiency in accounting through general ledger work on both accrual and cash basis

Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) is preferred

Proficiency in Lacerte tax software is preferred
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

$50,000 - $120,000 Annually
*Based upon Experience, Education, Certifications &/or Licensing*
